Lectio Divina

November 17 @ 5:00 pm - 5:50 pm

Gather for a contemplative reading of the day’s gospel and then continue to the 6 p.m. Vesper Light Evening Eucharist. Lectio Divina is a practice that dates to the 6th century founder of Western monasticism, Benedict of Nursia. Through repeated, and ever deeper, readings of scripture, we can experience the germinating of the Living Word within us. Learn more about Lectio Divina in this Anglican Communion resource.
