Join us for this free (except for the cost of the book) six-week, in-person series on Thursdays in the Grace Cathedral Dining Room. Covid-19 vaccination and booster are required to attend.
Contact Roberta Sautter with any additional questions.
Paul Was Not a Christian by Pamela Eisenbaum
Noted Jewish scholar Pamela Eisenbaum shows how Paul’s letters attempt to unite all people to follow Jesus while remaining true to Judaism. We will read about 40 pages each week for this standalone seminar.
What do we do?
We read (2-3 hours each week), discuss, worship, and occasionally break bread together. We meet for 3 hours on Thursday nights from September to June.
What do we learn?
We study the Bible in its historical context as well as its modern application, church history, and theology. Along the way, we learn about ourselves and each other.
Why do we do it?
An illuminating and rewarding curriculum. Exploring hard questions about our faith and the implications for our lives. The rare and profound fellowship that results from doing this work together, week after week.
