Senior Community Day: Brunch, Program, and Eucharist (In-Person)
July 19 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

We welcome you to join us for our Senior Community Day: Brunch, Program, and Eucharist series taking place on the third Wednesday of each month in the Chapter House Dining Room from 10 am to 1 pm.
For the health and safety of our senior community, prior Covid-19 vaccination is required; please be sure that you are updated on your boosters!
Serving staff and volunteers will wear masks while serving food. Masks are optional for participants. No one will be discouraged from wearing a mask.
Our hosts are the Rev. Canon Mary Carter Greene, Canon Pastor, the Rev. Margaret Deeths, Deacon, and Tracee Zyla, Program Coordinator.
Our delightful chefs, Arleen and Gail, will serve brunch with freshly brewed, hot coffee prepared by Jim, our hospitality maestro.
Special guests Dana Leavitt, LCSW, and Mary Cabarles will join us from the Department of Disability and Aging Services (DAS) to discuss what services DAS offers directly and within the network of Community Based Organizations.
Dana and Mary will explain how to access the DAS Benefits and Resources Hub, services provided at the site, and specific information available about DAS Intake, including Information and Resource assistance and specific referrals – Adult Protective Services (APS), In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS), Case Management (CM), Home Delivered Meals (HDM), and Community Living Fund (CLF).
Pre-registration is requested so that we may prepare enough food.
Schedule for the day as follows:
- 10 am–10:45 am: Enjoy brunch in the Chapter House Dining Room
- 11 am–11:30 am: Guest presentation
- 11:45 am: Cross the plaza to the cathedral for the Midday Eucharist
- Noon: Eucharist
- 1 pm: Conclusion and departure following the service
