Experience the Christmas story as it comes to life through the sights and sounds at Grace Cathedral, portrayed by children dressed as magi, angels, and shepherds.

All children may participate in the pageant. We ask that those who wish to participate arrive by 10:15 am for costuming. Children aged three and under who want to participate need to be accompanied by an older child or parent during the service.

Gather with your loved ones of all ages to share in this joyful celebration with carols and prayer along with the Rt. Rev. Dr. Marc Handley Andrus, Bishop of California.

To keep each other healthy and safe for the Holidays, we kindly ask that anyone who feels unwell on the day of the pageant celebrate with us online via our livestream.

Event Details

The entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the glass doors on Taylor Street or from the cathedral garage. Masks are strongly encouraged inside the cathedral.
