Our First Easter Pageant Ever

Blog|Grace

Many families in the congregation and the city know us for our annual Christmas show for children, “Sing You a Merry Christmas,”  and we are always delighted to see the cathedral packed with kids. This year, for the first time, we will present an Easter Pageant, with the same wonderful troupe that performs in our Christmas event, Presto! Opera. The Pageant takes place on Saturday, March 26, at 5:00 pm in the Chapel of Grace.

The performance will include music, dance, storytelling, and prayer around the true meaning of Easter, and promises to be a wonderful event. Presto! Opera, who enchant us every December, will invite the audience to sing and dance while sharing favorite parts of Easter celebrations — a new bonnet, chocolate treats, colored eggs and a hidden surprise that reminds us that each of these Easter treats is a symbol of a greater Truth. And yes, there will Easter chocolate for everyone!

We are delighted to be presenting the Pageant in the intimate and beautiful environment of the Chapel of Grace. Tickets are free and the event is open to all, and you can find this information on our website. (link to https://gracecathedral.org/calendar/detail.php?cid=28420)
