The Vine Online: Eulogy for the Martyred Children

June 03, 2020

5:00 pm

This week at The Vine, we’ll have a special Pentecost service lifting Black voices and Black wisdom. There will be new music by Destiny Muhammad, SFJAZZ’s Ambassador for Jazz and Social Justice, and a sermon by the Rev. Paul Roberts Abernathy, author of For the Living of These Days. He will also share original poetry in response to the murders of Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd.

Gather with us to lament, pray, honor and lift up communities of color across this nation in their ongoing crusade for freedom and human dignity.

As a unique San Franciscan community for urbanites and spiritual seekers, The Vine SF is all about creating new connections as we explore, experience and share the transformative love of Jesus. Whether it’s through contemporary worship with great music or small “Grace Groups” throughout the city, we know you’ll find community and connection.

Go to The Vine SF’s Facebook page at 5 pm tonight for a virtual Vine service.
