7:30 pm

Artists Alexander Diaz and Charlotte Keefe have created a dance performance that not only shares the stories of San Franciscans experiencing homelessness but also includes members of this body of ostracized and neglected citizens in the piece. Please join us for a stunning night of dance that will engage your perceptions and emotions.

Alexander Diaz and Charlotte Keefe met while studying at the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program and have performed with a number of cutting-edge contemporary dance companies.

“Alexander Diaz has a towering presence but was almost unbearably fragile in his duet with Charlotte Keefe … they share a potent, soul-stirring energy … raw and vulnerable.” –San Francisco Chronicle

The performance will be held on the following dates (all performances are at 7:30 pm):

Friday, June 7

Saturday, June 8

Friday, June 21

Saturday, June 22

Charlotte Keefe has been a company dancer for Menlowe Ballet and ZiRu Dance. She trained at Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program, University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Ayako School of Ballet.

Alexander Diaz has performed at ODC Theater and with LevyDance and TinyPistol. He trained at Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program, University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the Ailey School. He has taught dance on the East Coast, in Japan and in the Bay Area.
