An Evening with Noah Bulloch, Executive Director of Cristosal
January 15, 2020
Grace Cathedral is pleased to join six other San Francisco faith communities in sponsoring an evening with Noah Bullock, executive director of Cristosal, an international human rights organization based in El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras that addresses the sources of migration in Central America.
The event will be held at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2020, in the great room of Fowler Hall at the Episcopal Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 2325 Union St., San Francisco.
The area known as the Northern Triangle of Central America is the primary source of the recent wave of asylum seekers presenting themselves at the US-Mexican border. Bullock will describe the conditions that lead to migration from the region and advances in developing solutions to the deeply entrenched regional problems. Despite great challenges in both the United States and in the Northern Triangle countries, there are some promising signs for a hopeful future.
The evening is sponsored by an inter-faith coalition of faith communities that includes Or Shalom Jewish Community, St. John’s Presbyterian Church, and the Episcopal Churches of St. Mary the Virgin, St. John the Evangelist, St. James, St. Aidan’s, and Grace Cathedral.
