Winter Interfaith Shelter with Grace

February 9 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Now in its 34th year, the Interfaith Winter Shelter Program increases shelter capacity for people experiencing homelessness in San Francisco during winter. We are seeking volunteers to support us in providing a meal for guests and staff members at the shelter.

We are seeking the following:

  • Ahead of time: A meal planner to work with us ahead of the shift to plan a filling, nutritious meal for approximately sixty shelter guests and staff members
  • 3-5 pm on the day of the shift, February 9: Several “preppers” to help with preliminary preparation for the meal at the Cathedral and transportation to the shelter
  • 5-8 pm, February 9: Chefs to cook and serve the meal, and support clean-up

The Interfaith Shelter is located at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 1111 O’Farrell Street.

Please email Steph McNally at stephm@gracecathedral.org if you have any questions.
