August 2 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Chester Santos — renowned international speaker, U.S. Memory Champion, and also known as “The International Man of Memory” — will speak at Grace Cathedral in a rare Bay Area appearance.

Every year Grace Cathedral chooses a theme to inspire us and create new ways to grow as a community. In celebration of our 2024 Year of Memory, join us for a fun and interactive presentation by Chester, who has left an impression on all corners of the earth. With his unique ability to not only demonstrate extraordinary feats of the mind, but also educate others to do the same, he is widely regarded to be the world’s leading memory skills expert. Through his entertaining and educational television appearances, professional seminars, and best-selling books, Chester has helped millions of people around the world to realize the benefits of an improved memory and sharper mind.

From recalling a random 100-plus digit sequence in five minutes to naming every U.S. congress person’s state and district number, there’s no memory challenge Chester hasn’t taken on. While Chester understands his exceptional skill, he also believes that every person has the ability to demonstrate amazing abilities with their memory given the proper technique and guidance. Through workshops, corporate trainings, or his renowned speeches and presentations, Chester has developed a knack for passing on valuable memory techniques in ways that are easy to understand and retain for years to come. In his workshops, Chester has taught an 85-year-old to recite every Academy Award Best Picture winner in the last 25 years.  Every one of his speaking engagements ends with a standing ovation. On nearly every continent in the world, Chester has inspired millions of people to develop their memory. And as the International Man of Memory, this is the accomplishment that makes him most proud.

Chester will speak on:

  • Mastering the fundamental principles for developing powerful memory skills to enhance productivity & increase ROI from training and development efforts
  • Developing your visualization ability, creativity, and imagination
  • Learning to better remember names to get more out of networking at conferences/meetings and improve professional & personal relationships
  • Better retaining learned information and consolidate knowledge for enhanced professional & personal development
  • Becoming a more effective and persuasive speaker by learning to give presentations without notes
  • How to quickly learn all of the books of the Bible in order
  • Learning why neuroscientists insist that broadening your “knowledge base” is the key to creativity and innovation
  • Leveraging how human memory works to make your organization’s messaging and event programming more “memorable”
