TILT: A Celebration of Light and Music on the Summer Solstice
Sunday, June 20 All day
TILT honors our planet, as it leans towards the sun on the longest day of the year, and it also describes what we think you will experience with this concert – a different angle on music – especially music heard in sacred spaces.
Produced by Art Processors, an award-winning creative technology company, TILT presents beautiful music from each unique setting of our partners, at Grace Cathedral, Chicago Sinai, Against the Grain Theatre with Toronto Symphony Orchestra and Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris. This concert exemplifies the role of sacred spaces as centers of art and solace in difficult times.
Experience TILT at sunset in one of our partner cities: San Franciso (8PM), Chicago and Toronto (6PM) and Paris (1PM). All times are Pacific Daylight Time. The link with your ticket will be available for viewing until June 27.
TILT honors the memory of Paul Crane Dorfman, a good friend of the cathedral who loved music, fresh ideas and mentoring young people.
Artists include Olivier Latry, Titular Organist of the Cathedral of Notre-Dame in Paris; singers Stacee Firestone, Kenneth Kellogg, Looee Arreak, Diyet and Deantha Edmunds; the Professional Choir of Chicago Sinai; dancer Terrence Paschal; and accompanist and music director Ronny Michael Greenberg. The full program will be available for download.
