Preparing for Baptism, Confirmation or Reception
April 16 @ 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm

This series is offered for adults who desire to be baptized, confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church, and for others who may wish to renew or deepen their faith.
It will be most helpful to you and to the development of the group if you attend the series as a whole. Together, we’ll explore a variety of topics, including:
- The sources of Anglican/Episcopal Christianity
- Our images for and experience of the Divine
- The Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Confirmation, Reception and Reaffirmation
- The liturgical context of the sacraments
- Our history in the Book of Common Prayer and living our faith
In addition to the scheduled classes and being baptized, confirmed, or received at the Great Vigil of Easter on Saturday, April 8, participants are encouraged to join the Christian community in praying through Holy Week.
