Nob Hill Holiday Lighting Ceremony 2024 in Huntington Park
December 2 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Kick off the holiday season as the Nob Hill Association hosts its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Huntington Park. The Cathedral School Hawk Combo Band will play jazz. Refreshments are provided by local hotels. The ceremony will begin with an opening prayer from Grace Cathedral’s Dean, the Very Rev. Dr. Malcolm Young, and will feature remarks from Supervisor Aaron Peskin and City Attorney David Chiu.
Awards will be made to our SFPD and SFFD Protectors of the Year. The event concludes with a special presentation to Raphael House, which since 1971 has been helping low-income families and families experiencing homelessness to strengthen family bonds by achieving stable housing and financial independence. The cathedral will be open to visitors during the event, and in the event of rain, the ceremony will move indoors to Grace Cathedral.
This year’s event will include:
- Live seasonal music
- Cookies and hot beverages courtesy of our NHA partners
- Remarks from local community leaders
- Special presentation to Raphael House
- And more!
All are welcome to kick off the holiday season at this free neighborhood event. See you there!
