Mercury Soul is the creation of composer, DJ, and curator Mason Bates, Grace Cathedral’s 2025 Artist in Residence. Named as the most-performed composer of his generation, he is imaginatively transforming the way classical music is created and experienced, and is a visible advocate for the modern orchestra, imaginatively integrating it into contemporary culture.
