I, Too, Sing America is a theatrical concert celebrating works of poets of color, featuring Langston Hughes, Frances Chung, Vince Gotera, and more set to original music and choreography.

Originally produced by San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Company (SFBATCO) in 2018, I, Too, Sing America was named Theatre Bay Area’s Outstanding Musical of 2019, also awarded Outstanding Direction and Outstanding Choreography. I, Too, Sing America is a soulful symphony that celebrates the diversity of BIPOC American life through music, dance, and the poetry of great authors. Event Details

The cathedral will open for seating 30 minutes before the performance start time. The entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the glass doors on Taylor Street or from the cathedral garage. Masks are encouraged but not required inside the cathedral.
