Sojourn Chaplaincy at ZSFGH has healed hearts and minds for over forty years through innovative, specialized spiritual care. We were founded in response to the HIV/AIDS crisis in 1982. Since our founding, we have journeyed together through pandemics, health crises, injustice, trauma, etc.

Today, Sojourn Chaplaincy serves as the multi-faith spiritual care department for the entire hospital system, giving vital care to the patients, families, and staff 24/7. ZSFGH is a public safety net hospital and level-one trauma center. We continue to serve the most marginalized members of our community, and we need your continued support! Donations are fully tax-deductible.

Join us on October 16, 2024, at Saint Gregory of Nyssa in San Francisco (conveniently located near our campus). We will honor our legacy and look forward to a future of service with music, drinks, food, stories, and much fun!
