Are you new to Grace Cathedral, the Episcopal Church, or the Christian faith (or maybe not so new, but looking for a way to connect and learn more about your faith)? Curious about who we are and what we believe? Interested in exploring adult baptism or confirmation? Join us as we explore the basics of Christianity in this 6 week series! “Christianity 101” is a fantastic way to boost your knowledge, build relationships, and plug into the Grace Cathedral community. All are welcome!
We would love to have you join us, either for the whole series or whichever sessions interest you. Contact the Rev. Kristin Saylor to sign up or for more information – firstname.lastname@example.org
This series takes place on Zoom!
What are we doing here? Exploring our spiritual journeys – what brings us to Grace Cathedral? What are we hungry for? What does it mean to be a Christian in 2020?
What is the Bible? A crash course in the Old and New Testaments. What does this ancient book have to offer us? How can we faithfully and responsibly interpret it and apply it to our lives?
What is the Eucharist? What do we do on Sunday mornings and what does it mean? Why is it so important to worship together? And how does COVID-19 impact our understanding of Sacraments?
What is Baptism? How do we enter the Christian faith? What actually happens in baptism? And how does baptism change us, not just for a moment, but for a lifetime?
What is the Episcopal Church? There are so many different kinds of Christianity out there – what do we actually believe as a denomination and what makes us unique?
What is Grace Cathedral? Getting to know our various ministries and programs – from worship, to formation, to outreach – and how to get more involved!
