Grace Cathedral

Choral Evensong (In-Person and Livestream)
April 10 @ 5:30 pm - 6:15 pm

This week we welcome the St. Catharine’s College Girls’ Choir from the University of Cambridge. Founded in 2008, this choir was the first college-based choir for girls in the UK. The choir sings weekly in the College Chapel, as well as giving regular concerts. We are delighted that our very own Grace Cathedral Girls’ Choir will join together with St. Catharine’s in a special Evensong.
Evensong is a service traditionally held near sunset focused on singing psalms, canticles, and prayers, ranging from meditative to jubilant. The Grace Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys sings during our Choral Evensong with an officiant. Join us at this mid-week choral service and experience one of the most beautiful liturgies in the Anglican tradition. (45 minutes)
Event Details
The entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the glass doors on Taylor Street or from the cathedral garage. Masks are strongly encouraged inside the cathedral.
When the online version of the service leaflet becomes available, you can view it here.
