Choral Eucharist with Guest Preacher Mary Lomax-Ghirarduzzi (In-Person and Livestream)

We welcome special guests iCantori, a superb chamber choir from Walla Walla University in Washington State. iCantori will sing the anthem this morning, and join our Choir of Men & Boys in singing elsewhere in the service.

Grace Cathedral is delighted to welcome Mary Lomax-Ghirarduzzi to the pulpit. Lomax-Ghirarduzzi joined the University of the Pacific in 2021 as the university’s inaugural vice president for diversity, equity and inclusion and chief diversity (DEI) officer and simultaneously serves as a professor in the Communications Department. She is a leader on race, leadership and faith-informed social justice and guides the university through a transformative framework intended to integrate DEI into all aspects of campus life and operations.

The cathedral’s principal Eucharist, with anthems and service music sung by the Cathedral Choir. (60–75 minutes)

The entrance to the cathedral is at the top of the Great Steps. The accessible entrance is via the glass doors on Taylor Street or from the cathedral garage. Masks are strongly encouraged inside the cathedral.
