Celebrate Black History Month With Families and Children (Zoom)

February 20, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for a special Zoom Time to celebrate Black History Month. We will learn about how civil rights activists used the song “This Little Light of Mine” to spread a message of love and resilience, and to bring about change.

Godly Play children will think about the special words in this song, and why these words were so important to people who wanted to make the world better. They will learn about some of the special people like Fannie Lou Hamer who spread the powerful message of this song.

Grace Quest participants will explore how civil rights activists adapted and used this song to spread a message of love, hope and resilience.

Please email Steph McNally if you have any questions, or would like to be emailed a worksheet.
