Annual Interfaith Iftar (Sold Out)

April 19, 2023 @ 6:45 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with interfaith prayers for peace, distinguished speakers, a delicious meal, and joyful conversation.

Grace Cathedral is honored to host the annual San Francisco Ramadan Interfaith Iftar Dinner.

This year’s theme is “Ramadan: The Month of Spirituality, Celebration, and Care for the Community.” In 2023, the month of Ramadan overlaps with a number of holidays sacred to other traditions: Nawruz, Passover, Easter, Baisakhi (Vaisakhi), and the Theravada New Year.

Our program begins with interfaith prayers for peace, followed by distinguished speakers addressing the themes of spirituality, celebration, and care for the Community, and concluding with Adhan—the call to prayer —and a delicious meal and table conversation.

Co-sponsors include the Pacifica Institute, San Francisco Interfaith Council, Bay Area Cultural Connections, and Islamic Networks Group.
