A Ministry of Hope: Meet the Directors of Braid Mission and Write Cards for the Youth They Serve

July 21 @ 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm

You are invited to gather in the Chapter Room for an inspirational conversation with the Directors of Braid Mission, and to write cards for the youth their ministry serves.

In 2014, the Reverends Christopher Chase and Rebecca Edwards founded Braid Mission, a ministry designed to provide youth in foster care with a supportive network of volunteers.. A decade on, Braid Mission provides hope and healing to young people across the Bay Area. It also provides education and guidance to those who feel called to learn more about this work and the role they can play in changing a life.

You are warmly invited to a conversation with Rebecca and Christopher about their inspirational ministry. This presentation will provide participants with insights into ways to support this remarkable ministry in our church, from card writing to becoming involved as a mentor. After learning about the Cards of Hope program, participants will also be invited to write cards for young people connected to Braid Mission.
