“The Heart of Centering Prayer: Nondual Christianity in Theory and Practice” by Cynthia Bourgeault
Bourgeault provides a practical introduction to the methods of Christian Contemplation, or Centering Prayer, and considers the similarities and differences with Meditation. Our study will first focus on her discussion of what actually happens in Centering prayer when the mind is engaged in its practice and, secondly, on Non-duality and Christianity.
Please read the Introduction and Part 1 for our first session (note: our discussions will focus mainly on Lessons 7 and 8 and less so on the practice-oriented sections).
