One of the treasures of the Anglican tradition, Choral Evensong is a service of sung Evening Prayer. The service guides us to lay to rest the concerns of the day. It combines music, readings from scripture, and ancient and contemporary prayers. The music includes psalms, canticles and an anthem, all sung by the choir, with congregational hymns. The beauty of the music is offered to help us set our lives in the light of eternity; the same light which dwelt among us in Jesus, and which now illuminates us by the Spirit.
