The excitement is palpable as we gear up for an evening of ambient music at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco! Not only will we be graced by the extraordinary ERIKA, but we are also thrilled to announce the presence of Chuck Gunn, co-founder and resident DJ of QAOTIQ. This vibrant queer party champions BIPOC and Trans artists.

Although Chuck is known for keeping the dancefloor moving, he is excited to share his first public ambient music set. His recent performance at Outside Lands in San Francisco’s iconic Golden Gate Park showcased his talent for blending different musical textures, from rugged beats to spacious soundscapes. His sets are about movement and creating an experience that uplifts and connects.

As ERIKA takes the stage with her signature ambient vibes, Chuck will add another layer of ambient sounds, ensuring an unforgettable atmosphere. Together, they promise a night where your mind can wander through sound amidst the sacred space of our Gothic cathedral.

With ERIKA’s rich history as a live performer and her role in the legendary duo Ectomorph, paired with Chuck’s passion for inclusive music, this event is set to celebrate creativity, diversity, and sound.

ERIKA reached out to us to share her excitement about Ambient Grace, “I’m looking forward to visiting San Francisco in a couple of weeks to do a live performance at Grace Cathedral as part of their Ambient Grace series. Although I’ve never visited the cathedral, I’ve heard so much about its incredible acoustics, beauty, and overall vibe. I am preparing an entirely new set specifically for this environment, weaving tones and textures from a small collection of my synthesizers to create a unique, contemplative journey.
