Dear knitters, crocheters, and other workers with yarn,

Now that school is out, we can turn our attention to its reopening in the fall. Deacon Nina will be pleased to accept kids’ sweaters, hats and scarves for the backpacks she fills with school necessities: notebooks, markers, etc. Easy-care yarn, please.

Did you know that we try to keep a supply of afghans and baby blankets on hand for sick or hospitalized persons in the cathedral congregation as well as any new babies? If you have an urge to knit or crochet an afghan, we will be happy to find a home for it.
