What is it?
The Labyrinth Guild draws volunteers from the cathedral congregation, as well as the Bay Area labyrinth community. The Guild supports the weekly Friday peace walks and the monthly candlelight labyrinth walks with music by labyrinth at Grace After Hours. We welcome volunteers who are trained labyrinth facilitators and individuals who have an interest in the labyrinth as a spiritual practice.
Where is it?
The Guild’s work centers around the labyrinth. We provide labyrinth facilitators for the Friday peace walks and monthly candlelight labyrinth walks at Grace After Hours on the indoor labyrinth.
When is it?
The Guild hosts weekly and monthly events. Peace walks are held every Friday from 12:30 – 2 p.m. where trained labyrinth facilitators hold space for labyrinth walkers. Monthly candlelight labyrinth walks with music are held on the second Friday of each month from January through November and the first Friday of December from 6 – 8 p.m. Volunteers begin arriving at 5 p.m. to assist in setting up and lighting candles. Labyrinth facilitators provide an introduction to the labyrinth at 6:15 p.m. and hold space for walkers while enjoying the meditative music of various Bay Area musicians. For volunteers the evening ends at 8:30 p.m.

What time commitment is expected?
Labyrinth facilitators are invited to hold space at the weekly Friday peace walks or at the monthly candlelight labyrinth walk with music. Other volunteers assist with creating the sacred space in a variety of ways, including greeting walkers who come from the Bay Area and beyond. We welcome visiting labyrinth facilitators.
